BE STILL

Will You Be Still and Spend Time With Me?

Prayer to our Heavenly Father:
I praise You, Mighty God, creator of all things. You rule over all – the things seen and the things unseen. You were there before and you are thereafter. You knew me before I was and you will know me after. You named me a name known only to you and by that name you have called me. You are Lord and King. You are glory and sit on a throne high and lifted up. All the heavenly hosts do your bidding. They understand your words and your counsel. You spoke the end from the beginning. Everything you have purposed will come to pass to your honor and to your glory.
Show me your glory; show me your power; show me your name and the power and authority within that name. Show me who you are in me and what you desire and can do through me to your honor and glory. I magnify your name, Mighty God! Truly there is none like you – the alpha and the omega and the I AM that I AM. Reveal Yourself to me in ways as never before. I love you, worship you and adore you. Awesome are you, O Lord, and all your words are true! They are seeds eternal which are sustained by your name, your powerful name.
Today, I ask, "What would you ask of me, that I may glorify your wonderful and marvelous name?"
Prophetic voice:
Be still, my child. Allow the roots of your heart, your spirit, your very being to grow deep into the soil of my heart, my spirit, my being. Few there are who take the time or even have the desire to wait in my presence. This is the thing I ask of you – to come to me, to wait before me and to sit in my presence. Let me breathe upon you and within you my very life, for in my breath there is power and life.
Be patient, my child. Notice every detail I would point out to you. Listen to the beat of my heart. Let your eyes gaze into mine as you are drawn closer and closer to me by my spirit.
I have many things I desire to share with you – to whisper into your ear and into your heart. These are the things hidden from the beginning, even before time. These are the mysteries of my kingdom and "who I am." Will you come and spend time – intimate times- with me?
My response:
I will, my Lord. This would be my pleasure and my delight. Show me all you desire to show me and speak to me all you desire for me to hear. Teach me all you desire for me to know. I love you, Lord – my Lord.

30 Even youths shall faint and be weary, and [selected] young men shall feebly stumble and fall exhausted;
31 But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings andmount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired.
